A Brief History
In 1903, Atletico Madrid was founded by three Basque students from a branch of Athletic Bilbao intent. A year later, some members of Fractional Real Madrid join. They played with a blue-and-white uniforms, just like Bilbao at the time. It was only in 1911, the club used a uniform color as it is known today.
